the place they brought us to was called "Barbeque Nation"

It was an Indian attempt at a Texas de Brazil... without the steak, obviously. There was shrimp, fish, chicken, and lamb options... all were good but very spicy, which of course was expected.

The really weird part though is they had the meal backwards. You started out with the barrage of meats, and then you went to the buffet for what seemed like the filler.. which was more or less typical (southern) Indian fare.. lots of stuff I can't really name, some rice dishes and sauces. One dish struck me as very similar to seafood gumbo, and would have been a lot more delicious if I hadn't already gorged myself on the meat.

Anyway I ate way too much and my stomach kind of hurts this morning as a result (it's about 7 am here)

also.. at the restaurant last night.. there was a sign on the table that said they added a 4% gratuity to your bill and they advised against tipping more

It kinda made me feel out of place for tipping 500 rupees on an 1100 rupee bill the night before
