Fished Des Allemands, but the water was extremely warm so we put the boat on the trailer an headed to Cataouatche.

Ended up catching 11 all around 2~3lbs. Good weekend fishing

Saw a ton of people at both places I went fishing for bream. At least 30 boats(most had kids with them). No one was having any luck I assume because I never saw them put a fish in the boat, and I asked a few.

Better watch out Hat. We have some non-drinking people around here. They won't let you drink before/after you hunt. I would assume the same for fishing.

Thats where I do most of my fishing. I try not to eat anything that comes out of there though. Everything from S. Shreveport drains to Wallace. In the heat of the summer you can litteraly touch the oil sheen on top of the water.

Rough weekend for me. Went to a pond Saturday morning and caught a couple of bass. The cold front shut them down. I could only fish until about 9:30 when the wind picked up. Didn't feel like fighting it in a bateau.

Went to my hunting camp Saturday evening and put some jug lines out. The wind caused the water to drop about 5ft in one day. We caught a few on our last run.

Still having boat problems.

Ended up with about 50 or so bream on crickets, 7 bass only kept 5 let 2 go that were about 5 pounds each.

Non fishing related. Same turkey that has been giving us the slip the past two weekends, gave us the slip again Saturday. He will live to give us the slip again next year.

Not so much here lately as I'm currently boatless, but yea. It's real close to the house and if you know your way around it you can find some goods spots. There's some good bass out there. You've got to get back off the main channels. it's a great place to bowfish. Alot of big gar.

Seem like the Bream are hitting it good. I'm done for a few weeks while school ends. After that though I'm bringing a rod set up...I'll catch some gd bream.

I want to bad. I got a pregnant wife who drives a sports car so I need to buy her a new car within the next 7 months. And she just told me that she is going to graduate school, starting this summer.

I'll get one eventually. Until then I'll keep fighting with mine.

Two days on Lake Bruin camping. 3 bass, all on trees. About 10 chinks. Thought I had found them on a cypress island and left them biting on Saturday evening. Went back on Sunday. Not even a nibble.

Wallace Lake, brings back lots of memories. Used to bass fish it a lot, during the summers, back in the 70's. Went out about 10:30 PM and fished til daylight. We would tear the bass up.
