Going to Mandeville for the weekend. Anybody ever been to the Barley Oak? Yay or Nay to this place?

Love it. Pretty good beer selection. Nice open air upstairs with good views of the lake.
Priced high enough for the brew that it will generally keep the trash out.

meh, it's alright. i've been a couple of times and the crowd was kind of boring. just an awkward place for some reason, IMO. beer selection is decent. food is quite underwhelming.

I really dig The Barley Oak...good beer selection, good food, great view. Cool place to drink some beer and kick it.

Pretty cool bar with a great view, large beer selection, and the brisket sandwich was pretty kick arse.

Great atmosphere. The cheese plate is huge and really good. The specialty beers are OUTRAGEOUSLY overpriced...more than double what I pay at other places.

It's a great place for a few beers in the afternoon around sunset. Great view, decent food, pretty nice beer selection too.
