In your opinion how will Dexter end?

Minor spoilers I guess
Just finished watching season 5 (which IMO was exponentially better than season 3 and close to season 1 especially at the end)
1) He becomes a good father
2) He is caught
3) He dies
4) Other

Him dying or getting caught seem like the two most obvious endings, so I wouldn't be surprised if they go in some other direction. It seems like Debra will have to find at some point though.

I agree although he has hinted pretty much every season that it ends eventually with him getting caught. I do like how they had Debra sympathetic to the vigilantes for several episodes/non remorseful for shooting the killer in the club...made her letting "the vigilantes" go at least somewhat believable.

Debra walks in on a kill. Freaks out. The rest of the team shows up. Debra takes the fall.

His sister Deb finds out who/what he is and after an initial negative reaction, realizes that Dexter is just what Miami needs. She helps him find victims and perhaps even takes part in offing a few.

i see a sopranos type ending where you have to draw your own conclusion.
