I like neutral site games. They are called Bowl Games.
As for regular season neutral site games.. I don't like them because I prefer the home/away. They generate just as much media coverage. I find myself to be a lot more interested to see two of the top teams in the country, go into each others houses in consecutive years and see them battle it out.

for this situation? I agree
don't see much of that tho... we see maybe one premiere ooc matchup in all of the regular season most years
OSU/Texas and OSU/USC were good attempts at this IMO.

Last year, LSU played 7 home games and 1 neutral site game = 8 revenue producing games.
This year, LSU will play 6 home games and 1 neutral site game = 7 revenue producing games, but that is because they're playing at WVU.
7 revenue producing games is the key number. If not for the neutral site Oregon game, LSU would be playing a home game against someone....most likely a rent-a-win.
