I did a little research and it didn't end up looking like I thought that it would.

I checked Raph's stats and found that:

For wins he has a .364 BA(28-77) and .410 OBP(6 walks) and only hasn't reached base in 1 game and hasn't had in 2 games.

For losses he has a .324 BA(11-34) with 0 walks (.324 OBP) and hasn't reached base (or had a hit) in 2 games.

So, while he's still been very solid, he of course hasn't been doing as well in our losses(of course because they have generally been against better quality teams. My point now is that, as a team, if a couple of players aren't doing well in a game, most of the team isn't doing well. So far, Mikie has been the only player to break the trend of bad play in losses, it seems like he has been having some good games in some of our losses.

I would expect that everyone's average would be lower in losses. I was just curious as to whose bat we maybe missed the most in those losses. Also taking into account that our 1st 8 or so games were against the Sisters of the Blind, our averages should be a little inflated tere. Here's what I came up with:

Strictly batting averages:
Rhymes - wins .364, losses .352
Mahtook - wins .420, losses .379
Katz - wins .347, losses .192
Nola - wins .319, losses .333
Jones - wins .432, losses .161
Edward - wins .280, losses .181
Ross - wins .208, losses .353

Rhymes, Mahtook, Nola, and Ross have remained consistent. Hanover, Jones, and Katz have really struggled during our losses. I would kind of expect that from Jones and Katz being that this is their first year as starters. I guess Hanover just stuck out the most to me because he is a 3 year starter that has been fairly consistent during his career at LSU.
