which current or former Tiger running back

Is there some kind of unwritten rule on here that because the 20 somethings only remember the last 10 years and have no inclination to learn about the
abilities of former Tiger greats, that the virtual history of LSU football began in 2001!

Look, I love Hester & respect his abilities as well as anyone. But lets look at the guy that mentored him with this caveat : Not to run out of bounds but to run over the guy that trying to run you out of bounds! Jim Taylor became the leading scorer in the SEC (& I believe the nation) on just those kind of scores. 1 yd. line (sometimes 2 yd. line.) he would power in thru the defense or do his patented jump over the defensive line while turning on to his back, often landing on his head. He was almost unstoppable and the offensive lines on the 1956/57 teams were not nearly as good as 2002. He was all SEC and a 1st string all-american.

He later led the NFL in rushing from the FULLBACK position & was the only person to break Jim Brown's 10 year hold on the NFL rushing titles.
Before retiring w/the Saints he led the Packers to several NFL championships & the 1st Super Bowl win! He was an all pro that became a hall of famer. He was one of the strongest men per pound to play in the pros and one of the fittest. In the open field he would seek out Giant's all-pro linebacker,Sam Huff, to try and put him out of the game. It was one of pro football's all time great violent rivalries.

I'd put my money on the man that has proved he can take it in from the 1 more often and under the toughest situations than any former TIGER!!
JIMMY TAYLOR!

Just because their young, doesn't mean they can't know history or read a little before answering a question with little or no knowledge.
