Maybe not "once again" after the Chara non-suspension, but this was a layup for the league office. Cooke is so dirty that Sean Avery sends him thank you cards becuase there's at least one player people hate more than him.

When does he run from fair fights? After he hit Savard he fought Shawn Thornton the very next game against Boston. Claude Lemeiux turtled when Darren Mccarty went after him.

He ran away from Mike Richards, who publicly called him out on it (despite richards actually being able to play hockey well - being the captain of the defending conference champs and all).
Here's a story of Cooke running from a fight from VINNY LECAVALIER. I mean, what kind of gaping vagina do you have to be to back down to Vinny, who is not exactly a goon?
