Cafe Aspen if you like good but extremely overpriced food.
Joe T's for great environment, margaritas and the Nachos.
There is a great Thai restuarant just south of Cooks Hospital but I cant remember the name.
The Blue Oyster makes a hell of a poboy
The Sunday Champagne Brunch at the Worthington can not be beat but you pay for it.
Old South is a dive with a long history and reputation for late late night food. Get the baby german pancakes or the frog fries.
Hoffbrau Steak house makes a great steak.
Railhead makes really good BBG and the Shiner is tall and ice cold.
Lucile's Stateside Bistro is a Ft Worth staple and the Cheeries Jubille is a must but it may be little early in the year for cheeries yet.

Is that place downtown and multi-level, on top of a building? I ate somewhere like that. People raved over it and I didn't think it was all that.

May be why I've never eaten there. The Alpine location is the original and food just tastes better when you're on vacation.
