probably a lot of jefferson's big runs (e.g., 70-yd td run the first play of the ol miss game) had a lot to do with the opposition worrying about shepard getting outside. if opponents saw shepard's long td run against auburn the prior year, i'm sure it has an effect whenever he's in motion.
