All great places if you don't mind spending some money.

A few more moderately priced options:
Jim and Nicks BBQ (not the best bbq, but really good burgers, salads, chicken fingers, etc.)
Surin (really good Thai restaurant with multiple locations. The best location is at 5 Points South, which is a cool place to hang out in general.)
Of course, you could chow down on some ribs at Dreamland if you want to try the place made famous by college football broadcasts. The Bham location is not as good as the original in Tuscaloosa, but it's still a good time.
Nikki's West - consistently voted as one of the top 5 meat & veggie (cafeteria style) restaurants in the US.
