Saving for Private School - Baton Rouge

What are the best options for saving for kids private school tuition?
I can handle the Elementary and Middle School tuition and it's actually a decrease from daycare costs, but with two young kids I'm looking for the best options to save for Private School. I am hoping they will get some kind of scholarship - TOPS or otherwise - for college and they already have some money in a the LA 529.
Coverdell Education Savings Accounts seem to be good, but are limited to 2K per child.
School would likely be Catholic or St Michael's if that matters - likely 7K+ per year x2 by the time my kids get there.

I have one at CHS-BR. Registration & tuition is already 8k+. Over the last 7/8 years it has been going up about 300/400 a year. Also keep in mind they do not participate in state/federal funding for school lunch so instead of around 45 a month for lunch it will be about 120/125 a month. There are other differences but these are the big ones.

Talk to the people at Episcopal. My wife graduated from there and she is brilliant.

If your kid(s) wants to participate in athletics and isn't a stud, send them to Bishop Sullivan.
Don't forget to donate the year $300 church fee to your parish. You'll save money.

Baton Rouge High is free. They are going to be in a 60 million dollar building. A lot of kids get in there from private middle schools.
