This isn't my favorite scene in a movie... but a scene that made a recent movie for me

The Hurt Locker when he's back stateside... and after all of the insanity he's looking around this immaculate well stocked grocery store in which everything is orderly, ordinary, and unchanged

To me that snapshot was intended to encapsulated the craziness of coming home from a war zone... to return stateside to an environment where they have no comprehension or even echo of teh existence of what he and the other soldiers had gone through

Good call. I think it also showed how the main character couldn't make sense of the "order" of ordinary life.

I will also say the hallway fight scene in Inception with JGL was pretty epic as well.
