I heard his arm did not respond the way they wanted after his Wake outing. He was supposed to start Saturday but CPM shut him down for the wknd. Any news on him at this point?

I'd hope he'd be available to come out of the pen tomorrow night, but would rather err on the side of caution and bring him along slowly if his arm isn't right.

Eades is an F18 bro. Sorry you can't wrap your little simpleton mind around that.

Eades = winner, SLU = loser. Buh bye

ETA: Thomas Jefferson is a pussy

Just. stop. You're becoming an embarrassment to both LSU and Southeastern.

I don't know where you "heard" from but last Tuesday at the Coaches Committee meeting Mainieri said the rotation against HC was going to be the same as it was against WF, but with the order shuffled.

I've never heard that Eades was supposed to start last weekend. Eades threw at least once in the bullpen over the weekend. So did Tyler Jones who threw for about 20 minutes in the bull pen Sunday.

I got to the coaches committee meeting a lil late so I didn't hear that. CPM said on the postgame show either Sunday or Tuesday the rotation for HC was gonna be Gausman, Eades, Alsup.

Maybe I misheard him, but I guess it's encouraging if he did throw a BP session this wknd

I seem to remember PM saying McCune earned the spot in this past weekend's rotation and that they are going to need Eades for Wednesday since we have 2 midweek games.

this guys post on the rivals board is awesomely inaccurate. i dont have a subscription so i cant go correct him.

quote:

This year the LSU baseball team has something special. Granted, they are playing a weak schedule to start the season but they are destroying everybody that steps on the field with them. They have 9 pitchers that throw over 90mph and for the first time in a very long time, they look to have great pitching depth for the next 2 or 3 years. They have a true freshman, Kevin Gausman, who was clocked last weekend as high as 98mph, True Freshman Ryan Eades (94-95mph), True Freshman Kurt McCune and Juco transfer Tyler Jones who also throw heat along with Senior Ben Alsup who may be their Ace. With the addition of Juco player of the year, Raph Rymes, Football RB Spencer Ware (looks just like former LSU All American Jared Mitchell) and True Freshman 2cnd baseman Jacoby Jones (5 Home Runs already) along with everybodies All American Mikie Mahtook (5 Home Runs already), they look like a team with a lot of talent. They don't have a single player with a batting average below .333. Most importantly they look to have that certain chemistry that you sometimes see when a team has an influx of young talent that meshes well. LSU needed some young talent to make a run this year and it looks like they have upgraded their team in some very positive ways, especially pitching. I've been watching LSU Baseball for almost 30 years and if this team gels together and finds it's identity, they have a chance to be one of LSU's very best ever. There is no question, the talent is there.
We will find out a lot in the next 3 weeks as LSU hosts both Cal State Fullerton and Florida at Alex Box. If they develop, by seasons end they may be hell to deal with. The SEC isn't going to roll over and give LSU anything. I'm not trying to brag or flame, I'm just giving you guys a down load of what I think I'm seeing and what all LSU fans are very excited about down here in Baton Rouge. Good Luck to All. The Goal is always OMAHA.

no doubt. i mean that isnt even close to correct. also the part about no one batting below .333. I mean ty ross is batting like .180. Watkins is under .300 as well.
