Peopple enough about Offense

people stop talking about gettin offensive players. After Marshawn Lynch Tossed all 11 of our defensive players around on one play we dont need mark ingram or joseph addai. We need to use all our resources this year to get linebackers and Defensive lineman

while I agree, you can never rest on the offensive side of the ball, given that the NFL rules are so lopsided for the offensive side of the ball.
And, after watching our running backs get decimated, depth is NEVER a bad thing at the most vulnerable spots.

you obviously have missed a shite ton of football over the last decade. There is a premium on two things right now on defense....fast DEs and good DBs, things to harass the QB. You wanna know why?
Because the QB is THE most important position in the NFL, given the current rule structure. priority one is the offense. Defense is second.

Since QB is the most important player, I think we're OK there. That leaves us going after guys to neutralize other teams' QBs

So you're telling me that controlling the ball with a stronger running game would have had no outcome on how tired our defense was?
Tho I do agree with you. I think 3 things we need to focus on are D-Line, O-Line, and LB's. RB depth is important too, last year shows that.

I'm so glad you could pour this fountain of knowledge upon me. I was not aware that we needed LBers and DL and that the running game should come 2nd to that.
