It could also be at punchys wedding which we know for a fact Ted is the best man in and is approaching. Not sure why none of y'all haven't addressed that. That seems the most likely wedding he was at at this point.

to obvious IMO. And they have made a point of not showing who's wedding it is in the flashforwards. Leads me to believe it is not Punchy's

Also there was mention of Barney having a little sister.. I think we may finally meet her as well. Some of this is fact and other is my speculation.

I could see this happening and Ted gets her, that could be why he is called Uncle Barney.

And Robin marries Barney, hence Aunt Robin. Boom.

If I'm not mistaken Ted has said that their mother was in the class he taught and also in a bar one night. (Not sure what episode). That would rule out Punchy's wedding right?

He refers to all his friends as aunt/uncle. I don't think there is anything special to that.
We know the wife was in his first day of class, at the bar on st patty's day, at some wedding that we don't know about, and mila kunis' room mate.
A better question isn't why Marshall is in punchys ETA Frick I phones. In punchys wedding but why his wife would be at robin/barneys unless she's someones date.

I could see something happening and punchy needing another groomsmen and Ted grabbing Marshall last minute. I think that's a better reason then why his wife would be at robin/barneys.

Will the mother be someone out of the blue, or someone we have seen before?

Out of the blue. Last episode they flashforwarded to a wedding and he claimed he first met his wife there. He has been at the same place/caught glimpses of her up to this point.

The man lost his father, who he was extremely close with. I think he will start to come around soon but I get why he has been so sad. I could not imagine losing my father.

It's not Mila Kunis, it's Rachel Bilson.

Yea noticed that when I was driving in the car. Didn't feel like fooling with editing it while driving.
