Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball team is issuing a challenge to all UL fans worth $100,000 in savings for the final home game of the 2010-11 season. Head coach Bob Marlin's squad looks for its 10th straight victory and is hoping for a big crowd to propel the team.

If attendance at the Cajundome reaches 10,000 for Thursday night's game against first-place Denver, each ticket scanned at the entrance will be worth $10 toward the purchase of a 2011-12 Men's Basketball season ticket. The ticket will serve as the voucher. One discount per seat. Valid on new accounts and renewals.

The game is also Season Ticket Redemption Night. All season ticket holders can redeem any unused 2010-11 men's basketball season ticket for extra tickets to Thursday night's game.

Before the home finale, the Cajuns will honor the squad's three seniors - Travis Bureau, Randell Daigle and La'Ryan Gary.

The Cajuns are currently on a nine-game winning streak and have won 24 of the last 26 games since 2001-02 when the attendance is over 5,000 in the Cajundome.

The game is slated to start at 7:15 p.m. CT, following the women's game at the Cajundome.

They're going to do it in football too. The goal is to get at least 10 fans to come to 10 straight home games.

being on ESPN prob. hurts the attendance...people just rather watch on tv on a sunday noon game

I'm sure it does for big games...but I don't think it helps the attendance when bad as LSU has been this year. People would rather do other things on Sunday at noon then go to the pmac and watch us struggle. Now for tv games they normally do some type of promotion to get people in the stands or bring in a bigger half time act (yesterday was quickchange)

Being on tv helps their attendance cause they are never on tv, so it's something new

I think they can do a better promotion than this. Why not give away free tickets again like they did this past weekend?

Nope. Don't really give a damn about Louisiana Lafayette's Raging Cajuns.

WOW, this isn't worth shite. They have to ride the wave before it crashes anyway. I've never seen so much excitement about a 12-14 team.

The excitement is because of the turnaround they've had

They shouldnt have to give away tickets though
