Stars make insanely stupid trade with Penguins

I see no way this helps the Stars. Especially if you think, like I do, that Richards is going to walk as free agent. the stars just gave up one of their top young forwards for a mediocre offensive defenseman.
Awful deal.

One of the most stupid trades I've heard. Even though I hate the Pens, I'll take it, in the middle of this WC playoff race.

Seems like the Stars are punting the season. but why trade Neal who is both young and good? He might be their best two-way player, after Richards (I love Ericsson, but he's not exactly a backchecking machine)

I like Nieuwy, but I don't even understand the logic of this move. Maybe he got hit too hard in the Hertiage Classic old timers game.

With the Stars already throwing the season as is, i just dont think this was needed..
