Me and ol fellow OB poster Blizzake 7 and my ol lady caught a 3 man (and lady) limit of redfish in a mere 2 hours. This was the only cure to getting quack off my mind.

The past few weeks in Delacroix were just stupid. You could have walked down Oak River just jumping boat to boat.

any other day i would. but ive got the girlfriend today. i dont want to explain to her that we wont be murdered/raped/killed by the random guy from the coffee plant

but really, if you get a chance, go and bring 1/4 jig heads, and some dead shrimp. dont let people on the side of the road discourage you. just find a spot and settle in. theres always room for one more.

If that's the bayou that runs under the bridge you have to cross over in Shell Beach to get to Hopedale then yes. That's it!

It's not. Bayou Terre Au Bouefs is if you go straight at the junction to Delacroix. This is Bayou Yclosckey, I believe.

I can't imagine how ridiculous this is gonna be on a weekend, but the cold may keep it somewhat light. Doubt it though. I heard the sherrif's office was overseeing it today...directing traffic.

Not too many people out here. I'd say 2 dozen max. There's a few being caught. From listening to people who've been out here there needs to be a little bit of a tide and there doesn't seem to be any water movement right now.

And it's Bayou La Loutre.
