Yeah. It was me. None of the new members are getting to fish this though. Only 4 people. And that was seniority. Which is CRAP.

With all the badass fisheries in Louisiana, why Lake Verret?

The bass fishing is not the same there anymore. I don't think many boats will bring in more than 14lbs and they'll have several under 10lbs IMO, unless they count choupique.

I am choupique catching machine at Lake Verret. Every time I think I have a nice bass, I pull one of those slimy bastards into the boat.

I'm not sure what the boundaries are, but I'd start off in Magazille fish it to Belle River, go hit Doiron's Canal, and then come back shoot across the Lake and hit Crackerhead and Ike, and finish in Bayou Tranquille (someone will pull a 5lb bass out of there).

This must be why. I didn't know they were kind of piggybacking the Classic. This will be pretty cool then, I plan on being at the weigh-in on Sunday. The LSU team should have a bunch of fans cheering for them.

About 5 years ago I could've brought some of the LSU team back there and showed them plenty of bass spots. I used to fish Verret almost every day off in college.
