If anyone is inside the others head it's silva in vitor's.
Vitor was a legend in the sport before he was 21. A BJJ blackbelt, and a member of the Brazilian national boxing team. As physically gifted as any athlete in the history of the sport, and as naturally talented as well.
And a guy who is known to wilt when you put pressure on him. The ultimate front runner. He is impossible to beat if he gets it rolling early, and he absolutely refuses to fight back when things aren't going his way.
I dont see vitor getting in anyones head. Quite the opposite really, and anderson knows this. Anderson is a respectful champ, but this fight he has been talking and being rude to vitor. And vitor has done nothing but try and deflect it all and give the champ props and kind words
Still anderson disrespects him. Because he knows what alot of fighters know: that vigor can be shook and intimidated.
If you make vigor overly cautious early, and you start having success, then he will fade rapidly
I'm
Pulling for vitor to come out blazing so we have a great fight, but I'm
Worried that he won't handle well the pressure

How good is Vitor's wrestling? Any chance at all he tries to take it to the ground? Seems like if he can't get the KO early in the fight, Vitor's best chance is to put AS on his back.

Honestly I don't know. He doesn't wrestle much in his fights but id be inclined to think if he knew he wanted to take Anderson down In this fight, and has worked hard on his wrestling, it would probably be pretty damned good
Vitor is great at everything he tries to do

Yeah, I can't remember him going for a lot of takedowns in any of his previous fights, but I'd think that would be his best shot if he starts losing early exchanges. Watching some of Silva's UFC fights and he looks really vulnerable on his back. Of course he can always submit you, but he let guys like Sonnen & Lutter take him down with relative ease and both were able to full-mount AS without much resistance. Guess I'll just have to wait a couple more hours.....

Give me Belfort in less than 4.

Beezy, I totally agree with Vitor folding under pressure. In his past couple of fights he has looked sharp and I know he has been working with a sports shrink...He needs to 100% get off early bc I think Anderson has the same problem, we just haven't seen it that much...

Anderson hates other brazilians

I thought Machido was his best friend and he refused to fight him?

No bad blood on Belfort's part. He has said many times how he respects Silva.
I do not think Sliva has a problem with Vitor either. I think it was just posturing. He said something right afterwards about putting on a show and he has always had a flair for showmanship. Not only in the cage, but some of his pride entrances were nuts. He came out once semi-dressed as Michael Jackson, moonwalking and everything down to the ring.

i think he feels really insulted by other brazilians trying to be MW Champ. He flipped out when Wanderlei dropped to 185, he was more furious at Maia and Leites for no reason than he was at Sonnen for all of his trash talk and now more of the same with Belfort.

I've been driving the Jones bandwagon since he's been in the UFC, but I don't know who I'm pulling for in this one. I think That regardless of who wins, both of these guys are ready to fight an elite 205er like Shogun, Machida, Evans, or Rampage.

I'm ready for Silva's reign to be over. Not too confident but I hope Vitor wins

Why? Boxing was built on having dominant champions.
Also I would like to see Silva vs. GSP
