The best to me is a little salt, pepper, flour and fried. Nothing better than fried squirrel.
We seperate the young from the old ones when we clean them. If there balls are as large as yours than cook them in the oven with gravey, over rice, or pressure cooker. The young ones are better fried.

What if you have abnormally large balls? Or if your son is really young and is helping you clean them?
