Guy was asked to take off the tie twice and was promoting a direct competitor of a sponsor. Deserved to be fired.

this is stupid...who cares about the sponsorship deal...if i work at hibernia and i wear a falcons tie to work...I'm not getting fired.

In Rational People World, you don't fire someone over something so minor, which would draw a lot of attention to yourself.
However, in Irrational, Immature, and Insecure Douchebag World, anything is a fireable offense it seems.
