I just realized that all Pittsburgh teams colors are black and yellow.

2. Why do they do this? So they can wear the same thing to all events?

Just an anomaly. Think of it like the Nets, Jets, and Mets.

went to a tour of the pirates baseball stadium. they never said why they are all the same color. but they said they are the only sports city in america that all teams are the same color
