I'll be there tomorrow - worth going? Or should I go somewhere else for BBQ?

I'm trying to stay near Love Field.

Definitely go somewhere else. There isn't much great BBQ in Dallas, though. I like the Baby Back Shak best. Smoke is pretty good too (although more upscaled).

Peggy Sues is decent too.

Many people I know would disagree. Friends ate there this weekend and said the sides were very good but the meat was soso.

I ate at Sonny Bryans. It is BELOW average.

There are a lot of good steak houses in Dallas, though.

Was not impressed with the ambiance or the food. Had a better meal at Bodacious BBQ near Tyler on our way back.

Sonny Bryan's is a trash hole. Dickies is also below par but they are pretty easy to find. Rudy's is where you want to go, if you have the time to drive to one. Also, hit up Fuel City for tacos!

I LOVE Bodacious (although haven't had it in 5+ years).

They used to have sloppy joes (basically their chopped beef in a ton of BBQ sauce) for $1-- and, yes, this was in the 21st century.
