Who the best fit for LSU?
Chyrst
good balance of power running and play action off of it, receivers wide open.
Fuente
spread, not much running in this highlight, but they do run out the spread formation.
Nussmeier
lil wildcat, some pro style, and spread.
only ? is how much is Sark, and how much is Nuss

I like Nuss. I've always wanted a boot-heavy offense, and I think that's what he would bring.

I like Fuente for multiple reasons, although I must admit Chryst is more of the style offense I wish we would run.
Either of these 2 will be great to me.

fuente
Honestly the nussmeier offense looks pretty damn close to the crowton offense minus a couple things. This makes me believe our qb's may have played a bigger part in this offense then i thought.
I hope whoever we do get, they need to be a outstanding qb coach.

You have a Washington vs. Syracuse video for Chryst.

Sark calls all the plays and is heavily involved in the offensive game planning

im torn between chryst and fuente.
i think chryst runs what miles probably wants to run, but fuente runs what would fit best at lsu. i just dont see why we need a fullback on virtually every play. every time a fullback is in then a 5 star rb/wr is out.

Nussmeier
Played in both the NFL and CFL and coached in both the NFL and CFL. I think he is the most experienced of the Candidates!!!

cant imagine nussmeier being the "most experienced" if he isnt the one calling the plays.

I like Fuente for a lot or reasons (QB coach, good recruiter and evaluator, etc.) but I don't like the fact he's a spread offense guy. Running from the spread formations < running from pro style formations

pat white and steve slaton disagree.
you can run effectively from anything besides the run and shoot really. there are lots of variations of "the spread"

I'm sure a spread offense with two of the most prolific runners in CFB history in the backfield at the same time would do well in the Big East. But one has to take notice of Oregon's terrible runs on 3rd and short/4th and short vs Auburn. Oregon's lack of a power running game might have cost them the national championship.
I would be willing to bet that in 2010, there were more great running teams that have prostyle offenses than spread offenses. For every Auburn, there were two Wisconsins

Whoever made that video should never be allowed to upload a video again due to that horrible song

That TCU video ought to be used as a plug for their DC!

Doesn't matter who Miles chooses. If you want to see what the offense looks like next yr, just look at most of the plays they ran this yr.
