Leave his brother to coach under Miles at a rival school? That would make for a fun family reunion.
ETA: I just remembered that he's not at Arkansas anymore, so he wouldn't be leaving his brother. The rest of my post is still valid.

Y'all caught me mid-edit. I forgot that he was no longer on Arky's staff.

I am aware of that, the person that told me they had heard that is in Arkansas. The sources thing was a joke cause everyone on this board has a damn source.

Racist. Just because I'm 1/16th native American, you call me chief?

Hell, I don't know. I didn't even know where he was coaching.

He went in to a terrible situation at illinois and they went from 24 points a game in '09 to 32.5 this year. They probably could've done better if he had an experienced qb to work with, since Scheelhaase was just a freshman and more of a runner anyway.
He may be the best WR coach in college football but I dunno if he can be considered "proven" yet as an OC with only 1 season out of his brother's shadow.

I would recommend him in a heart beat. That guy is one hell of a position coach and the Petrino's offense would be ridiculous at LSU in my opinion. He's not the best recruiter in the world but I think LSU can take care of that on their own. I don't really remember hearing about kids loving Crowton either.
He left Arkansas because when interviewing for HC jobs last year he was told by many that they wanted to see if he could really call a good game on his own or if he was he just looking good because of his brother since Bobby technically runs our offense.
He really did a great job turning Illinois' offense around with a shite QB and not much to work with other than a bruising RB.
