Oregon's crazy uniforms and BB court........

Does the NCAA need to step in and take control over this or do they(NCAA) really have no jurisdiction over controlling uniform policies and playing surfaces with football or basketball. Seems to me the NCAA would have some kind of guide lines to these things.

I haven't seen the BBall court on TV yet, but I'm assuming it can't be any worse than Boise State's field.

The NCAA DOES have uniform guidelines and Oregon is following them.

Why exactly would the NCAA need to step in? Do you believe Oregon has some type of unfair advantage by wearing highlighter yellow shoes or having trees painted on their court?

I dont think the NCAA can do shite about it and that is great. What Oregon does is great for sports and their school. Just because some people like to get on their tradition soapbox doesn't meant the NCAA nazi's need to be involved with policing uniforms and courts.

Uniforms I could really give a damn about. Playing surfaces on the other hand, are getting ridiculous. First you have Boise's Sea of Gay Smurfdom and now Oregon's court looks like someone took a shite and trees fell out.

The uniforms and basketball court are pretty awesome in my opinion. But, I am an Oregon grad....

I am kind of on the fence about this whole thing.
Cowherd actually made a good point (gulp) saying that even though 30-50 year old men think their Uniforms are awful, the 17 year old kids they are trying to recruit don't and thats what is important to Oregon.

It may be different seeing this with the camera panning back and forth(fast breaks and whatnot), but from this picture...
I'd much rather watch Oregon play on this than watch BSU on their field.

I think they have gotten significantly better over the years. The early 2000s were a little rough in my opinion.

I liked the Highlighter yellow for the BCSNCG. It wasn't my favorite uniform, but 
I do tend to like obnoxious colors though.
My only issue with their uni's were those stupid wings they had. Looked too much like affliction for my liking.

I like the whole uniform thing and I think the new roundball court is pretty badass. Im not an Oregon fan but all of it is an Oregon thing. More power to em.
