What are the odds of the voters putting Oregon and LSU at 1, 2 in the first poll to make a 1,2 match to start the season?
Do those soulless bastards care? Or do you think their bosses may put the pressure on them to ensure more newspaper and magazine sales as well as greater than anticipated hype, thus generating more commercial revenue and viewers?

Don't see it happening. I'm guessing Oklahoma will be #1, but both teams could easily be top 5.

IMO, very high chance people will be doing this. Not for any conspiracy, but they will have a bias to do so because of emotions.

I dont see OU being at #3 and Bama at #4, JMO though.

I would be shocked if both don't start in the top 6 or so. Oregon will be ranked higher. Well, unless ESPN televises our spring game again and one of our QBs go off. I mean they held it against us all year when they were bad, only seems fitting to repay us if they have a good showing.

Its a win for everyone really...Without a doubt the best first game. Since both are ranked so high a loss doesnt totally take either team out of the hunt
