It is unclear what led to the end of the relationship. The 'Teen Mom 2' star had been battling rumors that she and Corey were on the verge of divorce since earlier this year. Just a few weeks ago, Messer as well as co-star Chelsea Houska took to their Twitter accounts blasting the divorce rumors.
Messer and Simms are parents to 16 month old twins Aleeah and Aliannah Simms. Aliannah’s health problems and their whirlwind relationship was the focal point of their storyline on the show. The couple was together for a month before Messer became pregnant. They broke up shortly after the twins were born due to Messer’s relationship with her ex-boyfriend. Messer and Simms reunited after a couple of months and within weeks were living together and engaged.

While OK! add that Messer had wanted to use that money to move out of the trailer they currently live in with the babies, one of whom has serious health issues.
If they weren't so stupid and didn't get paid for it I'd almost feel bad for them.
