Hey, that makes sense too me.

Look for a statement involving the following components:

1. He loves LSU
2. Michigan made him an offer he couldn't refuse
3. He's sad to leave LSU

He is gone, gone like the wind, gone like broken wind, like broken wind beneath my wings.

Mark my words Aleva will mess this next head coaching hire up. He has never shown the ability to make a correct decision on a head coaching hire in his entire carrier. If the big money Boosters at LSU and TAF had half the stroke they think they have Miles would have been fired last season or at the very least had Crowton replaced. Their hands are tied and in this economy you can set your sights on a low cost name we are not familiar with, probably with ties to the ACC. Boy will it be fun to listen to all the speculation and then hear all the fallout once this is over. I love LSU and I hope what Saban and Miles built can carry us a year or two during our next ex coach’s tenure.

Crowton FTW

They were impressed by our offensive output during the Cotton Bowl and having learned under Miles Crowton is a Michigan Man by proxy.

eta: Michigan to have record setting offense next year followed by declining numbers the next several years.

Wouldn't be surprised to see David Cutcliffe surface as next head coach. Currently at Duke, former SEC guy who has worked with Chief before at Tennessee, standup guys who would represent university well. Not saying this would be my choice just saying it would not surprise me.

i dont care if miles is leaving but if he is leading us on and stringing us out not allowing us to really launch a complete coaching search then frick him. even if it cost us 2 days its horse shite by miles to string LSU out when he had every intention of taking the michigan job.

yea that would be a horrible hire. we lose most of our recruiting class with a garbage hire like that and then end up like ole miss for four years. no fricking thanks.
