Loyalty

Miles can stop all these rumors by simply saying "I'm the coach of LSU and I am staying at LSU". I graduated from Michigan and I don't mind helping them, but I will not be the coach at Michigan. I'm happy here." The end. If he don't say that, then let his "happy arse" go somewhere else and lets move on. What ever happened to Loyalty.

Yes our fan base showed him plenty of loyalty this past year.

It goes both ways-where was that loyalty after the Ole Miss loss last year and earlier this year when many fans were calling for his head even though he was undfeated at the time? A coach doesn't feel loyalty from the fans when stuff like that happens and if some type of fluke season was to happen and we go say-6 and 5, he pretty much knows despite what he has accomplished here so far-he may get canned. Thats whats wrong with LOYALTY!!!

We show him 4mil worth of loyalty every year. He is paid to win, not win fans.

I agree to a point-but that 4 million comes from fans and boosters. The AD realizes that and so does the coach. When you're 7-0 and fans are complaining.....he's winning and doing what he's paid to do.

Why should Les be concerned about getting fired? He will smile all the way to the bank. When no one comes calling for your coach, even though he has a MNC, what does that say about him? I say we keep him and make him work out of his contract rather than BUY him out. Hell, even Ron Zook landed a job after UF. Or maybe he can become an analyst onside of Herbie. :usa

And if Michigan pays him 5-Million a Year, his loyalty will change too.
Loyalty is just a word that does not mean anything anymore. If he starts losing, the loyalty from LSU will change faster than we change our underwear. It is a business and that is just the way it is in the NCAA.

Are you saying the fan base didn't? All you have to do is go to a game on LSU's campus, any game. The tailgating, the hype, the amount of folks on campus, the traffic, the whole scene. And then the amount of asses that are physically in the seat at kickoff.
Are you telling me that none of that equates to loyalty? What more does the man want? Does he want us to set up a church on campus as the "Church of Miles" and pray to him like the second coming of Christ? I don't think so. He's been shown loyalty, believe me.

Yes.
Because none of that was for him, nor should it have been. Who the frick has ever said, "Hey, I'm going to go see Les Miles coach this weekend"? Nobody.

Where was Les' loyalty to Ok. State? How about Maneri's to Notre Dame? Or Trent's loyalty to Nevada or Stanford? Stop with the loyalty issues. It is a business. If you were from LA and were working a plant job up in Stillwater OK and you always wanted to go home and Shaw offered you the same job to come back to LA and you would make around the same $$$, why would you be a bad guy for wanting to go home. If anything, Miles is being loyal to the place he's from. He giving up a ton to go coach a second or third tier team.

If it were about loyalty he would be gone after the way the moron lsu fanbase treats him

If Miles would have lost to Bama this past year.........a lot of our fans would be begging UM to take him.
Loyalty goes both ways........
Loyalty goes both ways........

The only difference is its not rumors. He is actually meeting with Michigan. WTF you want him to say right now?
