Who do you think our #1 pick should be?

It's been brought up before, but if Mark Ingram is available, I think we need to take him. We need a reliable workhorse who's durable. We need the balanced attack back desperately. If not I say we go all defensive picks except maybe some oline help.
Not sure who the #1 would be defensively. Maybe Cameron Hayword (sp?) from Ohio State

neither will help us rushing the passer...Haywood is a 3-4 end

as of right now, LB and DE look kind of thin
would love a LB in the 1st, but ask me after the combine and we can pinpoint someone.

Trade up and get PP7 is the obvious answer here.

Whatever the coaches think we need on defense, that's the position to draft in the first round.
When your team scores 36 points and still loses the game, defensive needs scream out.
Plus, good running backs are normally available in the third round. A guy like John Clay (6-1 248) from Wisconsin is a real bruiser who might be available in 3rd or later rounds.

Anyone position on the front 7 sans MLB should be the 1st pick, if we don't address the positions in free agency

AS many times as Brees was sacked, knocked down, hurried this season, I think some Oline help is in order.
