doesn't cave in to Miles' demands. It appears that is happening, and I'm extremely impressed.
If Skip were the AD, he would pay Miles in 100 lb. gold bars, raise his salary, and promise him the AD job once he retires.
Miles is already screwing us over with his ridiculous contract. There's no need to further screw ourselves over.

How do you know Miles is demanding anything?

Miles isn't screwing us over with his contract. He has produced. But you're right in that we shouldn't be giving him another raise.

Out of curiosity, what value do you put on keeping LSU relevant and in the mix in the SEC and national stage? How much is too much?
If we get a new coach, what is your expectations for next season?

I've said it a million times
If Lsu wants to give les a one time bonus outside of the contract as a reward for staying ....fine
But this should not be about money.

Miles did what was in his best interest. The athletic department was the one that agreed to go along with it.

This could be one of the dumbest out of left field what the frick are you talking about posts of the last 4 days. I guess that is something to be proud of.

NOT ABOUT $$.
This situation is not playing on who pays the most $$. We are NOT dealing with Saban.

his stonewalling of miles only puts more pressure on himself. hes making a stand, but that only raises the stakes on his hire. his job here depends on nailing his next pick

Our real problem seems to be the AD. It's internal and not money. Just think what we are risking on getting a new coach. AD from Duke and we ain't playing BB, this is FB. Plus this guy was at Duke when those student LaCross players got the shaft.
We do not need to change the football coach. Miles has earned every penney that we have paid him. No coach in the past has come close to what Miles has done at LSU.
It makes me sick when I read so much garbage on the board on the Rant.
