I like to read the board to keep up to date on all the lastest Saints news & funny shite too. But I rarely post.

When is the last time a road team was an 11-point favorite in a playoff game?

Might be a first.

The reason for my original post was because the spread in Tuesday's Morning Advocate was 10 points. Then when PT was put on IR on Wednesday Vegas took the line off the board for a while, then when it came back on it was Saints 10.5 favorite. So without PT AND Ivory we actually gained a 1/2 point. That really got my attention. And I would love to hear the response from my fellow WhoDats!!!

If PT and Ivory don't go on IR that spread might have gotten as high as 13

Personally I think we have gotten this far (just getting by) with the running game we put together because of injuries. It got us this far, and I think the offense will still get close to 30 or so points, that being said, I think the main thing some people don't focus on is our defense taking care of business against their (moderate at best) offense. I'm pretty surprised that the line has held fast, to tell the truth. Then again, my sports book friends here have been telling me that this game isn't generating nearly as much interest as the other playoff games are. That likely has a lot to do with it.
