This is kind of a weird stat when you look at the rest of the conference, is it just pure coincidence or b/c they usually play the better SEC teams and on good fields, not the usually torn up fields in Florida bowl games? Michigan is 3-2 vs SEC teams in bowl games since 2000, PSU is 2-1, Iowa is 3-1.

OSU is playing really good SEC teams (champs or runners up) in bcs games. the others are playing 3rd and 4th place teams.

Conference champs should be able to go head to head to prove their worth.

OSU gets hammered historically when they finish atop their conference and play an SEC team atop or near the top of the SEC.

There is a reason other conference champs or runners up are matched with 4-6 place SEC teams.

Historically, so does everyone else.

So. OSU has recently been the best of the best in the conference and played the best of the best (or maybe 2 or 3rd best) in the SEC.

The Cap One since about 1992 is a matchup of the runners up from Big X and SEC or whichever their good teams are that don't get BCS at larges and i think the record is only slightly in favor of the SEc if at all.

Penn St win over LSU was on shitty field conditions but they beat us, end of story

Iowa beat us because Ronnie Frickin Prude couldn't make a tackle

That 10am local time start for the Cap 1/Gator Bowls definitely didn't help imo. How many SEC teams play early in the morning? The Big 10 play the majority of their games during the day.

Wow, and SEC fans make fun of Big 10 fans for complaining about playing on the road for nearly every bowl game.
