Another great pick, if you go to restaurant.com you can get a discount on a gift certificate there.

Tsunami for sushi as well. I know some people like other sushi joints but personally I like Tsunami the best even though I don't frequent it the most often.

Gino's, Digiulio's, Ruffino's depending on where you're coming from.

it was great. the pastry and bread items there are wonderful.... we had a jambalaya spring roll... the jambalaya wasn't the best.. but the idea was there and the spring roll dough was amazing...

they also seem to be really good at frying things (i went at lunch so i was on a MF mission) i had fried quail and red beans and rice. someone else had friend chicken and it was 100x better than popeyes.

since it was at lunch we all went for the most heavy item there... i haven't tried anything else from them but i dont see why it would lack.

Stroube's

Though I'm worried if you've never been to a cirque du soleil, then I bet you haven't had foie gras either

LOL, I have been to cirque du soleil but just could not remember how to spell it without it right in front of me. Quite frankly, I can't always remember how to say it. I have had foie gras too, but could not have spelled that either but it sure taste good. Thanks for the recommendation.

I am a little suprised no one has mentioned the Texas Brazil Steak House. Do I need to stay away from there?

It probably hasn't been mentioned because it isn't downtown.
