The big ten must really be down.

UGA and Tenn and Florida have been a big part of the national SEC brand for the last 15 years, so in the mind of many, if they are down, then the SEC is down.
Never mind that USCe and Moo State and Arky are up right now, and Alabama and Auburn are very strong. LSU is kind of treading water in the national mindset due to winning so ugly.
All in all, the SEC is strong at the top (Auburn, Bama, Arky, ~ LSU), has different strength in the middle (USCe, Florida, Moo State, ~Tenn ), and has about the same amount of cellar dwelling as normal (UK, Vandy, UGA, Ole Miss this year)
All in all, those claiming the SEC was down are not very thorough in their assessment.
The SEC is about the same as always in 2010. Period.

I mostly heard ESPN saying that the East is down, but the West is probably the best division in all of CFB.

as said earlier looks bad when the big name schools are down and the no name schools are up.
nobody despite yesterday will ever take miss state serious

They would beat 9 of the 11 big ten schools this year.

absolutely not.
they beat michigan handidly just like every other decent team did.
michigan quit when they got down early and they have no defense.

Which two teams other than Wisconsin or Ohio St would beat Miss St? Penn St? maybe Iowa?Michigan St? I def wouldn't bet that Miss St. would lose.

Big Ten has been a Big Disaster this year.

I'm with most in this thread. Miss St (5th in SEC) could beat 80% of the Big 10.
What is also funny is that 6-6 Georgia went against the CUSA champion and was about 8-9th in the SEC.
Tennessee was like 9-10th in SEC and lost to ACC 4th
Florida (SEC 7th) played against Penn St (BIG 10 4-5th)
SC was really the only disappointment

Be careful about that statement. They didn't just win, they dominated. That will stir a few recruits into their favor and Dand Mullen is a good coach.

Big Ten is very down. I don't understand why people don't get this.
Bama destroyed Penn State earlier this year the same way. It's not some new thing.
College football as a whole is down, literally. It's really sad how low it's fallen as a whole, but it's basically been across the board.
ACC, Big 10, Big 12, Big East, Pac 10, and SEC are all down this year. PERIOD.
