Shiro Davis, 6'3" 225lb defensive end from WHS in Shreveport was offered by Alabama two weeks ago. He was invited to Under Armour All America Combine as well. Anybody have any idea of any interest from LSU. Couldn't find anything on the board here.

He's in the Rivals database now showing offers from us,TAM and Oklahoma.Bama is the other team but listed as an offer.Evidently our coaches are on him.

No doubt. The coach they have now played for Eddie Robinson at Grambling and seems to really be trying to build good young men. Took a few of the players last year to an LSU game in Baton Rouge on his on dime to show them what success looks like. He coached at Bastrop and somewhere else and said this Davis kid is as good as any he has seen. Coach is Decarlos Holmes I believe.

That's the guy that brought the Port Sulphur 5 to Bastrop.

Torshiro Davis, DE, Shreveport, La./Woodlawn

Davis turned in one of the very best testing days in a very talented group of defensive ends. He checked in at 6-foot-2 ¾, 210-pounds and ran a 4.68 forty-yard dash. He added very impressive 4.5 pro-agility shuttle, 30-inch vertical, 7.65 L-cone drill, 10-foot broad jump and 14 reps on the bench press.

Sounds like a freak athlete to me

if he added 30-40 lbs and had those numbers u might have an arguement. honestly a guy who runs a 4.68 40 at 210 lbs isn't exactly what i call a freak athlete, its average at best.

Hence why he is a DE and not a skill player.4.68 was actually a good time for that combine outside of the blazing kid from Maryland and a few other skill guys. The best guy there Fowler ran a 4.65.That's fast for a DE.All about the burst and getoff though.

Yea i know the coach from Woodlawn in Shrevport he and Bo Davis is tight so if he has a Bama offer you better beleive Bo is in his ear.

What will happen if Bo takes a job at Texas?

Likely nothing happens on the Texas front. They are going to have to fight hard enough to keep Mario Edwards Jr. in the state(FSU because of his dad)and also Texas is always loaded at DE.From the article it sounds like he already knows whats up with LA kids and LSU.
