How many of you would cease to be Hornets fans?

Because my answer is obvious. I'm not a fan of Chris Paul, I'm a fan of the New Orleans Hornets. I think Chris Paul is a great player and I'd love to have him stay on the Hornets but he's kind of a douche and if we trade him for multiple good young players and draft picks then so be it.

this. If they left I definitely wouldn't be a fan anymore. However if the Saints ever left (which I doubt will happen in my life time) I'd still be a fan probably since I've never had another favorite NFL team. I certainly wasn't a Charlotte Hornets fan

Depends on how badly we get screwed in the process. Like if the league takes advantage of owning the Hornets and trades him to the Knicks for a 2nd rounder and expirings that'd be pretty difficult to recover from. Also, is Marcus Thornton on the team? I don't care if he shoots 20% every other game, the games where he gets no minutes or shoots 80% I'm sure as hell going to come here and start threads bashing Monty.

Quick fix and trade CP3 out.

The Bobcats want an experienced center And Point guard right ? The LA Clippers owner hates BDiddy and has an emerging superstar that he'd like to pair up with another legit superstar right ?

Easy...

Bobcats receive:
Chris Kaman
Baron Davis
Trevor Ariza

Clippers receive
CP3
Nazr Mohammed
Matt Carroll

Hornets receive
Tyrus Thomas
Gerald Wallace
DJ Augustin

CP3 would never sign an extension with the Clippers.

You called and asked him ? You do realize the young talent they would have if that happened right ? Aminu, Bledsoe, Gordon, DeAndre Jordan, oh and that Blake Griffin guy.

That's a 6'9 lengthy SF currently in his first year.

Gordon is averaging 24 ppg this year.

DeAndre Jordan is perhaps the next Tyson Chandler.

And the best Young big man in the NBA.

But your right. He's long gone from that.

I just can't see myself being a Hornets fan if CP3 wasn't on there.

how? he is the best pg in the game, the only player that shows up every night, gives back to the NO community in every way donating money, etc etc. you are a douche for calling him a douche. It would not be the wisest thing to trade possibly the best pg in NBA history. And yes if we traded him for picks and expirings i would stop watching the team because the rest of the players on this squad are not worth money to watch them lose. Ask any NBA fan from another city, CHRIS PAUL IS THE HORNETS. Have a nice day...
