I don't remember reading anything other than he just wanted to look at other options available to him. Any other word on how he stands on LSU??

According to some, his parents are afraid of the competition he will have to go up against, so they are taking the easy road and going to Auburn

Because Michael Dyer is so much easier to beat out than Ford or Blue

I've heard hill is all auburn now, simply through word of mouth

Yea, because competing against the #4 RB out of HS for 4 years is the same as competing against guys who are going to be 2 years ahead of you after you redshirt

If this is the case, I wonder if he changes his tune if Auburn pulls Savon Huggins. With Auburn's current runningback situation, he may be almost guaranteed a starting job for 2 years if he redshirts or 3 if Dyer declares early. If I wasn't an LSU fan, I'd definitely want my kid going to the barn vice LSU.

The job would not be guaranteed because Auburn will without a doubt recruit another top back next year.Depth chart is better for him at Auburn but he will have to compete anywhere he goes unless he decides to join Teddy at louisville(just a joke).

The runningback situation for him at Auburn is like driving along the I-10. If he's just cruising and not paying attention, someone could speed right past him and cut him off. The situation at LSU is like driving in Southern California. There are 4 cars trying to squeeze through a 2-lane bottleneck.

Steven Ridley, Michael Ford, Spencer Ware, Alfred Blue, Jakhari Gore, Kenny Hilliard, Terrence McGee.......I like Hill, I think he's a solid player who has a bright future and to be honest I hate losing any Louisiana kid especially to Auburn/Alabama. But our RB situation is pretty crammed. Do I think he could beat out most of those players his freshman year....yes. Do I blame him for looking elsewhere....no.

I'm thinking Auburn has a great new recruiting strategy.

When is the last time at top tier SEC team didn't have a good running back? They are a dime a dozen. He'll have good competition wherever he goes.

The same reason AU is eventually going to get the hurt laid on them by the ncaa.

this would be a nice consolation prize given all the times LSU has been jambed by the officials at AU this past decade.
I have issues with the football teams from Alabama...

because it's just like the bryce brown situation. once he withdrew his commitment from miami and went passed signing date, there wasn't one person that didn't think he would end up at utenn with kiffin and org.
when j. hill withdrew his commitment, there was no doubt in my mind where he would land.
