Question: How do you guys make text disappear in a pic? example: the club-footed deer pic (deer camera I think) had the date and time on it. You all took that away and then did your thing to the pic. All I know to do is color match, which usually doesn't look that good and you can tell what was done. I guess I'm asking are you cutting and pasting over the text or what?

Use the clone tool to copy from one area of the image to another. The deer pic is a pretty simple one. The timestamp on the photo is mostly over dried pine needles. Just choose a part of the image that has lots of dried pine needles as your source and clone it over the text part. Same thing with the portion that is over the tree trunk. Just be a little more precise there.

Also keep in mind the clone tool uses the brush. So you can control size, shape, edge and opacity as well.
Master the clone tool and it will take your farking to another level.
