Deadspin reporting via Luther Campbell of all people got hired as DC with the Longhorns. Any one with a more credible link lol? I think thats a great gig for Randy after just getting canned from Da U. Plenty of recruits too to replinish the defense too. Is Mack desperate or smart on this one?

it was reported on the radio this morning, that at some point and time last nite they had communication, and supposedly a press conference is tenatively scheduled today. Whether that means it's Shannon to UT, cant be sure

If true then this is a very big pick up for the U of T. Don't think it'll take long if he does well before they name him Coach in Waiting. He did decent at UM and probably could hold his own in Texas.
