Mugshots Bar & Grill -- Towne Center in Baton Rouge

Ate there today for the first time. It's the old Chammps location in Towne Center BTW.
Very good chips and salsa, excellent Mahi sandwich, and very good burgers. Very reasonable prices. Refills and 32 oz. plastic go cups on the soft drinks...
Good service, nice sized bar, great atmosphere --(very refined for a sports bar) and probably 20+ TV's of various sizes.
It seems they rely on word of mouth advertising, as I haven't seen any ads or reviews yet, so show 'em some TD love...

there is about a 4 page post on Mugshots.....I think they need to do some mass marketing asap or wait till the superbowl and have a big blow out party

Went today and had the peanut butter burger. Just had to try it. it's an interesting burger. Gets kinda messy when the heat from the patty starts melting the peanut butter. overall i'd say its a pretty good burger. I'm not sure if it was the size of the burger or the fact that my ssytem didn't know what to do with the combination of ingredients but, i only finshed about 3/4 of the burger.
I'll definitely try it again one day.

Went there last night...it was great. Good atmosphere.
Fries were tasty and hot...burger was a good size, lots of condiments, price was good.

have only been their once, and we didn't get the burger...but everything we got was so nasty, that we will probably never go back...oh, and i got the mahi sandwich and it was dry and tasteless, and the bun was way too big.

I go to Mugshots in Biloxi to get the Rajin' Hester Cajun Salad w/ Ranch Dressing. The burgers are all cooked the same -med well I think, which I don't want. I like their ranch dressing and fried pickles and that pink sauce.

Is this place more bar than grill or the other way around? Better yet, would my 5 year old be out of place here?

its got a big bar but its mostly food. your 5 year old will be just fine

BTW, I ate there (not their) just this past week, and it was consistent as usual.

rag, i just don't want this little tiff between me & stealthy to escalate into a parking lot bar fight at mugshots...i've been in beast mode lately, and i'd hate to make chicken miserable by kicking a poster in the head repeatedly.

I had their McDonals burger when they first opened back in November of last year, it was amazing...went back two weeks ago, ordered the same burger, it was disappointing to say the least. Very much overcooked, why can't they just cook all burgers medium?

I ate there last week. Food was pretty good. I got the Roast Beef sandwich instead of burger.
The acoustic player was actually pretty good and female singer. Need to get more acts like that on Friday and Saturday.
Only complaint would be I felt as though service was slow night I Was there, but they looked short staffed.
