It hasn't been discussed in at least a couple of weeks, so I figured I would make sure we made another thread about it.

Looking for an upscale lunch spot Saturday afternoon in the Warehouse District, Garden District or maybe even uptown.
Only upscale spots I know that are open Saturday afternoons are Coquette and Lillete. Every place else that comes to mind is closed. Trying to hit up somewhere new. Any ideas?

Also, does anybody know if Coquette does the 3 course lunch menu for $20 on Saturday?

Coquette and Lillete.

Would have been my two suggestions.

I like Coquette. Haven't tried Lillete yet.

Glass if you haven't tried the parsnip soup at Coquette yet give it a try while they still have it.

Apparently you New Orleanians only eat PoBoys on Saturday afternoons.

I'm having a hard time talking myself out of Coquette anyways. Just seeing if I was missing anything else.

Yeah it's a pretty small serving size but it's very good. It's about as light as a soup with cream can be and has some nice texture to it.

I might have to go get a bowl of that tonight before they take it off the menu.

My go to spot usually, but looking for something new.

That looks good. I've never been.

Girlfriend isn't a fan unfortuantely. One bad experience kind of ruined her on the place.

Trying out Guy's new place - Roux Orleans - Sat night, and from what I've been told he took most of his signature dishes with him to Roux Orleans. A little disappointing that he didn't create a new menu, albeit some of those items were very good.

Never been here either. Looks good as well

Thanks. That will give the ole bird some options, and make her feel like she's choosing.

Not a fan of Coquette at all.

Another option is American Sector.

We ended up here on Saturday afternoon. I figured I would. This place is not just decent... it's damn good. It's only the second time I've been, but I'll definitely try to make it a regular stop on the weekends. The only criticism I could give for this place is a limited menu, but I think just about anybody could find something appealing to them on the menu.

Execution, presentation, and food quality is second to very few if any of the places I've been to recently especially for the price. 3 course lunch menu for $20.

ETA: The place was packed. Turning away people at 1:00 on a Saturday is a good problem to have. I randomly spoke with a handful of people through out the weekend, and only 1 person had even heard of the place.
