I know we're all living in this beyondo world where Mettenberger's gonna be our very own Newton/Mallet-type savior, but I won't hold my breath.
I just hope he's better than good. I honestly wonder how much playing time he'll get next year. He's a sopomore, with only a year of SEC practice. We'll have two seniors with plenty of starts, for right or for wrong, I just don't see Miles rushing to play him. He'd have to be so exponentially better for Miles/GC to play him. He's also not mobile like GC wants to run his predictable, semi-spread/traditional, non play-to-your strengths offense.

Matt and Matt were also guys who could run to make plays happen. Mett is a pure drop back passer from what I understand. Hey, hopefully he's that guy that can just sling it around the field, but GC hasn't had a guy like that since like Tim Rattay.
