Well pig, I hope this made you feel good too, along with the Hogs fine season. Along the lines of your reasoning about the chances for LSU's future, I hope that you are satisfied with your team's performance this year. It is not even likely to be matched, let alone improved in future years.

Congrats to Hog Fans on winning against LSU this year. As an LSU fan I'm very happy with the success of our program the past 10 years with 2 National Championships.
I understand the need for Hog Fans to bash other SEC teams since they have never won an SEC Championship. You are improving but still have a long way to go. If you want to be respected then stop posting threads like these.

since 1958, huh? HOw about that undefeated Arkansas team of 1965? Oh they were DEFEATED by an irrelevant LSU team in the Cotton Bowl. They were a few points away from a national championship in 1972, they CHOSE to not go bowling in 1969 with a 9-1 record and the best damn defense ever.

Being the best is measured yearly. And in 2003 and 2007 we were the best team in college football. How the frick you can sit here and say we were above average in 2003 and 2007 is beyond frickstickery. We have more crystals than Auburn, Alabama, USC, Texas, and Oklahoma (and as I recall, one of our crystal balls came at the expense of OU).
And if you want to talk about conference dominance, you left off a few peices of hardware in that category, too. You see we won 3 SEC championships this decade. That means we were the best team in the SEC in 2001, 2003, and 2007. What has Arkansas won in the last 10 years. Nothing.
In fact since joining this great conference, Arkansas has won the same amount of SEC Championships as South Carolina, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, and Kentucky...zero. What a crowd. So easy (and typical) for someone from the SEC D-list to come here and talk shite about our status in the college football landscape.

For the period you referenced, LSU lands at #7 in most wins, Arkansas lands bout # 40, and the Cajuns...well, somewhere toward the bottom.
For SEC wins during that period, LSU has 64 which is 2nd to only Florida and Hogs have 43 which comes in bout #8 in the SEC.
For SEC CG, LSU has played in 4 which is the most and Arkansas has played in one.
In BCS bowl appearences during that time period , LSU is in the top 5 and Arkansas is...well, when was your last BCS bowl?
For BCS titles during that peroid, LSU is #1 and Arkansas is...well, when was the Hog last NC in footall?
Want to know what amuses me, Arkansas or Cajun fans who want to talk smack bout LSU football.
