Storyline games and RPG's are out the door unfortunately. Every now and then you get a Mass Effect.

Bioware and Bethesda are still doing great work with RPGS. Borderlands was a quasi-RPG of sorts. Diablo meets FPS. I hope that RPGs aren't going anywhere. They are a nice change of pace from the highly competitive FPS fare. I like relaxing and enjoying a cool story when I don't feel like pwning n00bs.

I'd try out Diablo III if I was rocking something a little better than a barebones laptop. I think I'm actually dodging a bullet on that one though, Diablo II was like heroin for me.

I have a game recommendation for the Xbox 360 if you are like me and loved those old JRPGs from the past. Lost Odyssey. It was written and produced by Hironobu Sagaguchi, the creator of the Final Fantasy series. The musical score was written by Nobuo Uematsu, who was the music composer of FF1-FF9. Its a lot of fun. 4 discs
