Personally, I know a lot of A&M fans that talk non-stop on how great A&M is. While playing a top 10 team in Michigan State would be nice, beating A&M and shuting their fans up would be oh so sweet!

The problem is there is so much downside with losing to them. That's why I don't mind not playing them.

I live in Houston and work with a lot of Aggies. I find them to be hard working, level headed and when it came to this season - hopeful and pleasantly surprised with the outcome.

After the loss to mizzou eveyone was sayin we were done and had given up. No one at the time was thinking we are gonna win out and go to the cotton bowl. But hey whatever helps you sleep at night

Sounds like some of y’all are hanging around the wrong Aggies. I’ve found any fan of any program that talks out of his/her arse is just that, an arse, and guess what we’ve all got ‘em. Even Louisiana State.

This marks my 1st post on y'all's forums. Looking forward to the Cotton Bowl immensely. I've got a few LSU buds that think as much about their home crowd as we do our 12th Man.
Have y'all bought your Cotton Bowl tickets yet or are y'all holding out for an official announcement? Sadly y'all are at a disadvantage with the late announcement in regards to crowd %age. It appears the stadium is going to be a home-field advantage for us with all the Ags having already bought tickets up.

I'd like to meet this Aggie... As a whole, we've been pretty down on our selves for the past decade. We may have had some expectations at the beginning of the seasons, but they dissipated quickly. If you want delusional, go see baylorfans.com. Apparently they are still the best team in the Big12 South and RGIII will win the Heisman.

Aggies are some of the biggest fans of Aggie jokes. I seriously did laugh at blowing up the bus.
I also laughed at the "shutting up our own fans" comment, 'cause it's sad and true for us as well. Fortunately for us, Sherman has had us on a streak recently and most of that has quieted down, but amazingly after a win you still have your obligatory "I'm not impressed" threads.

I will echo the BaylorFans sentiment as well. I went onto their boards the week we played them and somehow went from 20 positive rep points from the year before into the negative while posting objectively. Just straight up bitterness over there, although they have their share of reasonable posters as well, it's mostly pure entertainment.

ATM is nothing. They could beat us this year sure. But think of Auburn, but never as good, compared to Alabama. That's who they are. Always second fiddle. And they have the gayest traditions I have ever seen.
