25% of your, potential, engineering career will be spent writing. Grammar would be a worthy investment on your part.

You don't speak on the behalf of any A&M student outside of yourself. Who in their right mind would go on an opponents forum to talk trash about their own fan base? :banghead:

Also, find the shift key and this (') grammatical symbol. It will help in making you appear like you made it through a 5th grade writing class.

Are you serious? You don't have to explain to us what it is. We all know...and we think its the faggiest thing in college football.

why do they have to practice yelling?

IT'S THE INTERNET! THERE IS NO ROOM TO RELAX.

For real though, I just saw irony in the original post. Moving on.

It's facts. What else am I supposed to say? You attended A&M, have to deal with who we are. Yell practice is just that, a practice for the yells on gameday.

Anyways, I think you're reading too much into the word "practice." It's not a serious practice, it's just a tradition...something fun to do. You run into other students, opposing fans, old alumni, see the coach and listen to him get ya all riled up.

To push a little more.

We as the 12 man have a role in the game just like the players do. We contribute through our "yells". Hence the "practice" aspect of it. We get together and practice each one to make sure everyone knows what to do.

What does that have to do anything? "Yell Practice" is for the fans, attended by the fans. That is your doing. Sorry for pointing out the obvious, but it is very cult like.

David Koresh and Midnight Yell have nothing in common. Traditions =/= Cults.

By the way, I'm sure numerous A&M players have had their fair share of run ins with the law.

The difference is ours are no longer on the team. Yours is a Heisman candidate.

It couldn't have been much worse than what Baylor and Tech typically say.

At any rate, we know those people exist. Appreciate the thread.

Now back to how much we supposedly love sheep, are not intelligent and suck at football.:banghead:

You think Koresh and the Branch Davidians would have moved their compound to College Station instead of Waco. Their membership would have increased significantly.

Seriously stop drinking, theres three first round draft picks on our D. You dont equal it, and everyone in the country knows that A&M are known choke artists. Please take a moment to stop pissing your pants and come up with a real flame.

Hey how do you tell an Aggie in a crowd? By the rusty zipper and yellow tennis shoes.

Football season is over in Austin. Go find a basketball forum.
A "Gig" is a small multi-pronged spear used to hunt fish/frogs/<insert any small creature>.

Gig 'em began in 1930 at the yell practice before the TCU game. Gig the frogs...
I'd like to meet this Aggie... As a whole, we've been pretty down on our selves for the past decade. We may have had some expectations at the beginning of the seasons, but they dissipated quickly. If you want delusional, go see baylorfans.com. Apparently they are still the best team in the Big12 South and RGIII will win the Heisman.

Ironic.

What's Les going to eat when he has to play on Astroturf?

how does it feel to be the 4th or 5th best team in your state?

You're right, 4th or 5th would be about right. Especially after we lost to Baylor, Tceh, and tu.

Wait....

Not so fast! Ags have improved, but the Hogs have done so as well. Let me point to two areas where we have improved significantly that lead me to believe that the Hogs would not only win a rematch right now, but would win by a larger margin than back in October.

1. The emergence of a running game. Back in early October, the Hogs were still trying to run by committee. The OL was not gelling under new coach Chris Klenakis' schemes. Following the Auburn game, the OL started opening holes, and Knile Davis became a tip tier SEC back, going over 1,100 yards - even though he played sparingly in the first 4 games.

2. The continued improvement of our defense. As the season wore on, the defense has been able to keep some very good offenses in check. I think our d today is significantly better than they were in Dallas.

Seems like your current qb is a huge improvement, but I do not think it's enough to overcome the talent and coaching gap you have with us.

Since this is an LSU board, I will say that after being at both the LSU-AR and the eATMe-AR game, I have to say, LSU is the far superior team to eATMe. Though the victory margins are similar, I never once got the feeling that the ags were any threat to win that game in Dallas. We made lots of mental errors to keep the ags in the game. But I don't think we ever felt threatened. Against LSU, I wasn't comfortable until the clock hit zero. Every snap felt like do-or-die. Right now, I would predict a potential LSU - eATMe matchup to go something like 30 - 17 LSU.

Larger margin? Cute thought. :rotflmao:

Good Lord. I think the Ags would be favored in this game. Maybe by 3. I would put money on aTm to cover.

aTm strong offensively with the run and the pass. The defense has played great over the past 5 games.

LSU offense shows up sometimes. Defense has fallen off since Auburn game.

If I am being objective, I think aTm is favored and wins this one.

It doesn't matter how our O or D performs... Just punt it to us. We'll gladly turn it over to you.

I'm not confident in this potential bowl match-up at all. We have been nothing but fail in our recent bowls.
